Nicole and Cade had a beautiful wedding on a crisp January day on Saturday. Beginning with the sweetest 1st look in front of a waterfall at the Embassy and followed by a sweet ceremony at the beautiful San Fernando Cathedral and Rio Plaza for their reception. They are so happy!! Love these two!! Thank you to my…

What a gorgeous wedding/day/couple/dress/venue/everything! I also just had to share a few quick bridal portraits I did of Tiff, because of course she’s so absolutely gorgeous, but she also had a monarch butterfly land on her bouquet in the middle of it!   And here are more of the wedding!   Thank you Steph, Melody and…

From the moment I met Beka and Nick over a year ago, I could not wait for their wedding. It’s amazing how far away a year seems, but how quickly it arrives. I will have to settle for a mental picture of this gorgeous bride riding in my car and eating a chocolate cupcake with icing on her…

This sweet and emotional wedding was full of surprises! The rain right before the ceremony….the song that Adam wrote and performed for his wife, Britannia…and many others! It was beautiful in more ways than one… I love when my couple is brave enough to take a few in the rain…worth it. Thank you to my…

My rockstar assistant Melody filmed this sweet and intimate wedding last month at the Little Church of La Villita and Hotel Emma. I’m super proud to show off her work!   see more videos here

Hi there :)

About Michelle

I began shooting weddings in 2002 and officially started Michelle Jones Photography in 2008. I shoot weddings full-time. Weddings are my focus and my passion. It's important to me that I take a limited number of weddings each year so that each couple receives my full attention.

My approach to photography is documentary, meaning that I anticipate and shoot moments as they naturally happen to capture the genuine emotions and events of the day. I will pose you and your family for portraits, but I do encourage interaction and work with everyone to get genuine expressions. No cheesy poses or fake smiles on my watch! I want my couples to remember what a great time they had, not the awkward pose the photographer made them do! In keeping with authenticity, your photos are lightly edited to enhance the natural beauty of the images and the people in them without looking fake and overly airbrushed. I don't use trendy filters in order to keep your images from looking dated in the next decade. My goal is to give you timeless, beautiful, genuine images to remember how beautiful your day looked and felt.

Personality-wise, I’m professional, organized, detailed and quiet, yet also a smiling, giggling, patient, goofball dork! I am told I put people at ease and help make the day stress free. I am outgoing when needed, and when appropriate, a ninja photographer lurking in the shadows. I will help you create a wedding day itinerary to ensure we plan enough time for the photos that are important to you with beautiful sunlight for gorgeous imagery.

I would love to meet with you and hear all about your big day!
